was born in 1961, May 31, grew up the countryside known as “Lai Tong Seng” in Chua Chu Kang back then. Being a member in a big family, we as children would be required to help out in the farm. Even till now, nature has never failed to sustain my yearning for it. It might be that kind of environs which trigger my fascination for art.

Despite having strong interest, I was not encouraged to take a step further to uncover my dreams until I enrolled myself into a short term sculpture course at LaSalle-SIA in 2003. I realize how engross I was whenever I was doing sculpturing and it struck onto me as something I have always wanted to do.

After the course, I being to discover the restrictions in obtaining the materials used for sculpturing. Limited with natural resources, thus occurred its high costs, I thought of alternatives ways to make materials accessible yet at lower rate.

Mixed Wire mesh，cement and other materials therefore became my live. The flexibility of the wire mesh and consistency of cement is a perfect choice and substitution for the materials originally used for sculpturing.

The unique, natural sculpture work presented my thoughts in different times zone exist.Most of my paintings pieces drawn only when the unthoughtful images strike without seem. The non-essential objects and details are omitted from her sculpture and paintings in order to focus on the vision aspects.
